MISSION 5 - 5-POINT OBJECTIVES

India, the world's largest democracy with a population over a billion, has over 400 million children suffering forms of deprivation..
  • Around 12 million are born blind, deprived of education and never see their families.

Around 20 million poor children are forced into child labour..
  • never to enjoy or obtain the fruits of childhood
  • never to get the love and care of their parents or to have someone to teach what is right and wrong..

These children face the harsh realities in their early childhood without having anyone to protect and care. They are thus deprived of their basic "Right to Education" and "Right to Childhood".

These children end up facing humiliation and the gruesome realities of life..

Our Mission, an initiative by the college going students,to help the disabled and deprived children imbibe the 'light of education' and exercise their Right to Childhood,Care and Happiness.

The Right to Education is a fundamental human right, which should be obtained by every child.
- UNESCO
